About TandemG

TandemG was established in 2010 with an unswerving vision of being an independent research and development center for software and hardware products. The company provides the highest quality of end-to-end IoT development services and solutions. From technology giants to startups, we understand and meet our clients’ needs in a variety of fields: apps, embedded systems, server and cloud, operating systems and drivers, hardware and electronics. 

At TandemG, we manage and operate innovative and complex projects, using the most advanced technologies. After just five years, we entered Deloitte’s FAST 50 list and have cemented our position on that list over the last few years. Moreover, within a year of our founding, we were already a profitable private company, with no external investments. Today we have about 90 employees, most of whom are developers. 
 
Over the years, we have helped to shape challenging technological developments in the worlds of medicine, vehicles, cyber, green technology, networking, video, and many other industries, and often advised on the development of tools and plugins.

The happiest and most joyful moment comes when product has been developed and is distributed to the markets. We have been there for these milestones, remaining tightly by our clients’ sides during implementation and product release, ensuring that all goes to plan and there to iron out any issues that arise.

  • Professional Interests and Challenges

    Maor Peretz, CTO: Every project that we lead may be different in its specifics but are united by the need to solve a complex technological challenge. We manage this successfully by investing a lot of time in in-depth research, which allows us to move forward in the best possible way. Each project is entirely different in that the code is written from scratch. My managerial approach encourages engineering pluralism: listening and learning from each engineer, discussing the ideas in an engineering group, and choosing the most appropriate solution. The essence of my role is to produce an environment full of challenges and opportunities in which our team of talented engineers can learn from each other, express themselves and thrive.

    Sagi Zer, Director of Production Infrastructure: As a leading R&D center, we develop technologies for the most advanced companies, using the very latest systems. It requires us to not only remain up to speed but also constantly evolve and learn new things. In this sense, the challenges are not merely technological, but also logistical, as we must set up a work environment that allows us to produce the technology. My managerial approach is to help each employee reach their full potential. I make sure to get to know their abilities and provide guidance where there is difficulty, allowing for them to progress, rather than managing in a broad and non-specific manner. I believe the key is active listening, with empathy also a vital component to innovation and success. A business is only as successful as its personnel, and at TandemG, we are committed to both the growth of the business and the people who make it. For myself, I feel that I have grown a lot since I arrived, and I try to pass it on.

  • Personal Development

    Menachem Shapira, Head of server and Cloud: I joined TandemG straight from university, after working in the system field at banks and other enterprises during my studies, and immediately felt a connection. What was important for me when choosing to work at TandemG was to be significant in a small and growing company. The company offers a lot of opportunities for graduates. Right from the start, I found myself involved in a wide range of technologies. Within a few years I became a Team Leader and then a Department Manager. Living close to work is great, I ride my bike there every day (although not a tandem J). I’m genuinely excited to come to work each morning. I get to experience new technologies from different fields: Cloud, FE, BE, mobile and even hardware, in diverse industries - agriculture, automotive, medical, IoT, and so on. It seems like the knowledge, creativity and resilience that I know today, professionally speaking, I learned here.

    Idan Kahlon, Embedded Linux Team Leader: A product company - it's more of the same. Before coming to TandemG I worked at a startup that was acquired by an international corporation. Very quickly I felt that I had exhausted my abilities. I really wanted to enter the field of Embedded Systems, and specialize in it. A friend recommended TandemG, which is immersed in this field and works on a wide variety of interesting projects. It was important for me to always have something new that I can learn, rather than being stuck on one product for a long time. Right from my second project at TandemG I felt that I could express myself. After one of the senior engineers left, I felt I was becoming a technological leader - I joined a new team as the professional authority. I wanted to become a Team Leader so I could be involved in more technologies and fields. And the opportunity came. I feel that the broad forums and team-led meetings are very beneficial for me and push me forward. TandemG is a pleasant place to work, very different from my previous workplaces.
